2012

The Summit

The fourth TAG summit, which was held in July 2012, led to a list of eleven agreed-upon recommendations concerning a variety of world issues, from the Middle East and North Africa to situations in Latin America, Belarus, and Ukraine. TAG specifically called for coordinated action by the U.S. and the EU to protect Christians across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and to more effectively coordinate their efforts to support human rights and democracy in Latin America. TAG expressed grave concern about the protracted and systematic violation of essential Civil Rights in Belarus, and the deterioration of the Civil Rights situation in Ukraine. The resolutions and recommendations covered a vast area in international politics.
